Baseline Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 October 2026
Baseline is a personal health and training app for iPhone. This policy explains what data it uses and how.
Data we access
- WHOOP (with your permission): recovery, sleep, cycles/strain, workouts, profile and body measurements.
- Garmin Connect (with your permission): activities and health summaries such as sleep, heart rate variability, Body Battery, stress and steps.
- Apple Health (with your permission): sleep, heart, activity and workout data.
- Data you enter yourself, such as food, supplements, journal entries and measurements.
How data is stored
All data is stored on your iPhone. Optional backup uses your own private iCloud account. Access tokens are kept in the iPhone Keychain. Baseline has no ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics, and never sells or shares your data.
AI processing
Most analysis runs on your device. Some optional features (for example food photo recognition or written insights) may send the minimum data needed for that single request to Anthropic's Claude API. These features are off until you enable them, and data is never sent to any other AI provider.
Your control
You can disconnect WHOOP, Garmin or Apple Health at any time in the app, which deletes the stored access tokens. You can export or delete all your data from within the app. Revoking access in your WHOOP or Garmin account settings also stops all data access.
